York Tree Surgery is an introduction service: we connect people who need tree work in York and North Yorkshire with qualified, insured local tree surgeons. This page explains what we do with your information.
What we collect. When you use the quote form we collect your name, email address, phone number, postcode and the details of the job you describe. We do not ask for or store payment details.
Why we collect it, and who we share it with. We publish a summary of the work and your postcode area so local tree surgeons can see there is a job in their area. Your name, contact details and anything you have written stay private at that stage. One suitable business can then buy the introduction, and at that point it receives your details and we email you its name and contact details. The business pays us a one-off fee; you pay nothing. By submitting the form you are asking us to make that introduction, and agreeing that we can share your details with the one business that buys it. Nobody is obliged to buy, so we cannot promise that a tree surgeon will contact you.
Marketing. We won't send you marketing unless you ask us to. The consent box on the form covers contact about your specific enquiry only.
Retention. We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to make and follow up the introduction, then remove them. Every acknowledgement email carries a private link you can use to correct your enquiry or stop the search at any time.
Your rights. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Email [email protected] or call 07400 258588.
